Warranty Policy
The warranty is provided by our company, CINNAGROW, as the seller, in accordance with the provisions of OUG 140/2021 and OG 21/1992 (r2), regulations intended for individual consumers and applicable within US. The conformity warranty for new goods is valid for 2 years from the date of delivery for individuals (consumers), while resold/refurbished items carry a 1-year warranty. Refurbished products are new items whose packaging was opened, either returned within the legal 14-day period or tested/showcased. All "refurbished" products are thoroughly tested before being resold.
For legal entities, the conformity warranty is valid for 1 year, in accordance with articles 1707–1718 of the Civil Code. Identifying nonconformities and ensuring warranty compliance is our responsibility. To minimize risk, the warranty certificate is provided digitally via your customer account/email for each order. How the Warranty is Handled
In the event of nonconformity, you are entitled to the following corrective measures in order:
- Repair or replacement of the product (if repair is not possible).
- Proportional price reduction (for minor nonconformities).
- Contract termination and a full refund (if repair or replacement cannot be performed).
If a nonconformity is identified and confirmed within the first 30 days of purchase, the product will be directly replaced.
Important Notice
Products sent for warranty will be collected by a courier service at our request. Once your warranty request is approved, the courier will collect the product within approximately 2 working days. Please package the product carefully to ensure its safety during transport.
The product will be inspected at our service center to determine if it qualifies for warranty coverage. If repairs are made, the warranty period will be extended by the product’s downtime. Repairs or replacements will be completed within a maximum of 15 calendar days from the notification date. For replacements, a new 2-year warranty is issued.
General Exclusions from Warranty:
The warranty will not apply if:
- The product has been improperly used, maintained, or exposed to extreme conditions such as fire, water, mechanical shocks, or corrosive substances.
- Unauthorized repairs or service interventions have been performed.
- The product has been used excessively for commercial or industrial purposes, beyond its intended household use.
- Visible damages (scratches, cracks) were not reported at the time of purchase.
- The product shows normal wear and tear due to usage, which is not covered under warranty.
- The product lacks proof of purchase (invoice/receipt) or warranty certificate, or product labels/serial numbers have been altered or removed.
Packaging and Transport Recommendations
To ensure the safe return of products for warranty purposes, appropriate packaging is essential. We recommend using sturdy boxes with sufficient padding to protect items from damage during transport. Fill empty spaces with bubble wrap, polystyrene foam, or newspaper to minimize movement. If multiple products are shipped together, ensure they are separated by protective materials like cardboard corners or bubble wrap.
Procedure for Warranty Claims
Products sent for warranty must include all accessories and a copy of the invoice or warranty certificate. Use the original packaging or an equivalent alternative to prevent damage during shipping. Products not collected from the service center within 6 months of repair completion will be considered abandoned, as per the Civil Code provisions.
